TEN MUNICIPALITIES.
TEN ROUTES THROUGH MEMORY.

Ten Time Stations connect ten municipalities through interactive routes and holographic 3D heritage.

Alto Minho 4D connects the region’s ten municipalities through ten chronological cultural routes. Each local Time Station becomes both a starting point and a window onto a wider shared landscape.

Visitors use a touchscreen to select landmarks, stories and periods. A holographic pyramid then presents the chosen heritage object in three dimensions, ready to rotate, zoom and examine from different angles.

Photogrammetry was used to digitise sites including the Convent of São Domingos, the granaries of Lindoso and the Fort of Santiago da Barra. Their real surfaces and proportions become the basis for models designed for close visual exploration.

The system turns a dispersed territorial archive into a connected journey. Physical travel and digital interpretation reinforce one another, encouraging visitors to continue from the station into the places represented on screen.
